But none of this would have been possible without the generosity of thousands of home cooks, who were willing to share their family treasures, hundreds of whom were brave enough to come on the shows to demonstrate those recipes, and the many, many thousands of their friends and neighbors who have called in to get cookbooks.

We have done our best to print the recipes accurately and true to the originals. Please be sure to read each recipe all the way through before making it in your kitchen and forgive us for any typos that may have slipped through.
