Our Values
Incorporating art into Spoons Kitchen Exchange aligns us with our core values of curiosity, compassion, and connection. We primarily work with artists and makers based in Pittsburgh who focus on food, accessibility, and sustainability.
Our AI Policy
We do not support the use of AI to generate "art" or "content' in our branding, website, or marketing materials. All written content and design graphics are made by real people.

Vendor Consignment Program
Our new consignment program is designed with makers in mind. We offer a competitive revenue share for vendors selling handmade work (60%). We also cover the logistics of everything from listing items online to handling shipping. This gives our vendors more time and funds to spend on their creative work, not sales admin.
Offroute Art Gallery Wall
Offroute Art is a local nonprofit that supports emerging artists ages 16-24. They curate a rotating gallery in our Construction Junction pop-up shop where 100% of sales are paid directly to the artists. Customers who purchase a work will also save 20% off of their in-store purchase with us.

Product Collaborations
Reimagined Recycling
We've had a blast collaborating with Reimagined Recycling on experimental products, our latest being these adorable heart-shaped fridge magnets. Our long-term goal is to make accessible kitchen tools that incorporate recycled materials, such as utensil handles.
