Join the Reuse Revolution at the Circular Economy Fair

Spoons Kitchen Exchange is proud to partner with Construction Junction and Repair Café Pittsburgh to host the Circular Economy Fair. Taking place on April 19th 11am-3pm at Construction Junction’s warehouse, attendees will discover how local businesses and organizations are turning trash into treasure and giving Mother Nature a much-needed break. This event is free and open to the public.

From upcycled goods to forward-thinking sustainability strategies, you'll see firsthand how the circular economy is not just good for the planet, but also for your wallet and our community.

What is the Circular Economy All About?

Our current economic structure is built around a linear take-make-waste model of consumption in which resources are extracted, consumed, and sent to landfill. But it doesn’t have to be this way!

Circularity is a truly sustainable alternative that recognizes the value of all resources. Imagine a world where nothing goes to waste and everything gets a second (or third, or fourth) life. Instead of the outdated "buy, use, toss" routine, we're focusing on the exciting potential of the "reuse, repair, and regenerate" cycle.

Be a Part of the Circular Future

It's time to close the loop and open up a world of sustainable possibilities! Come learn about our local circular economy, shop with businesses and organizations that have innovative zero-waste practices, and discover how you can join the reuse revolution right here in Pittsburgh.
